Comprehensive Elder Law Services
Biography
Mr. Golightly is a partner at Katten Benson Zachry Golightly, LLP (“KBZG”). He specializes in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and Medicaid counseling. He also handles matters related to corporate formations, purchases, sales, and mergers. He serves on the boards for Guardianship Services, Inc., and the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association.
George began working for KBZG the summer before his third year of law school. He then stayed on as an associate, commencing his practice in November of 2017. George became a partner in 2024, a role he deeply enjoys.
Before commencing his practice, George attended Texas Tech University, majoring in Animal Science. After graduating from Texas Tech, George attended the newly minted Texas A&M School of Law in downtown Fort Worth, graduating in May of 2017.
Farming and ranching is very near and dear to Mr. Golightly’s heart. He grew up in Hico, Texas, on the farm his family has raised cattle, sheep, and various grain crops on since the 1890’s. George gets back to the farm at every opportunity.
George’s greatest achievement concerns his family. He has been happily married to his college sweetheart, Amanda, since 2017. They have three handsome boys together. He spends much of his time outside of his practice doing his best to pass on his passion for cows and tractors to all of them, including Amanda.
